Field Elm(Ulmus campestre) #3
About 40 cm high
Around 30 years old
Pot Japan, Tokoname
From a nursery tree since 1985
This elm started in the nursery of Werner Busch in Dusseldorf, Germany. I acquired it in 1988 and tried to style it in the broom form.In 2004 I decided that the nebari would never become good and air layered it. It is still struggling with getting good surface roots.
